The I-55 Exit 109 Overpass will be dedicated in honor of Illinois State Trooper Bernard D. Skeeters on Friday, July 17. The dedication ceremony will take place at 9:00 a.m., but please plan to arrive at 8:45 a.m. The staging area for this is by the Antique Mall. Directions: From I-55 North: Take exit 109, turn left at the top of the exit, proceed over the highway and turn right at Casey's (Old Rt. 66). Turn right at the drive between Casey's and the Car Wash. From I-55 South: Take exit 109, turn right at the top of the exit and then turn right at Casey's (Old Rt. 66). Turn right at the drive between Casey's and the Car Wash.
