Director of Building and Zoning
The Director of Building and Zoning is appointed by the Village President. Duties to enforce the Williamsville Zoning Ordinance include:
- Review and certification of all building and occupancy permits
- Receive, file and forward to the Zoning Board of Appeals all applications for appeals, variations and other matters on which the Zoning Board of Appeals is required to decide
Planning Commission
All appointments to the Planning Commission are made by the Village President subject to the approval of the Village Board. Duties of the Planning Commission with regards to:

Village Zoning Ordinance
- To post or publish notices of Public Hearings pertaining to proposed amendments to 1.) regulations in the Zoning Ordinance, 2.) zoning district boundaries, and 3.) condition permitted uses allowed in zoning districts.
- To make a written report and recommendation to the Village Board on such proposed amendments.
- To initiate, direct, and review the Williamsville Zoning Ordinance and make an annual report of recommendations to the Village Board.
- To hear and make recommendation to the Village Board on all matters in accordance with the Zoning Ordnance of the Village of Williamsville.

Subdivision Regulations
- To post or publish noticed of Public Hearing pertaining to proposed amendments to the Subdivision Regulations for the Village of Williamsville.
- To review proposed subdivisions following the procedure outlined in the Village’s Subdivision Regulations to insure that the proposed developments meet all of the requirements of the Village’s Subdivision Regulations. The Planning Commission approves or disapproves a Preliminary Plan and makes a recommendation to the Village Board to approve or disapprove a Final Plat.

- To hear and decide appeals from any order, requirement, decision or determination made by the Director of Building and Zoning pertaining to conformance with the Williamsville Zoning Ordinance, not including Building Code

Village Treasurer
The Village Treasurer is appointed by the Village President with the advice and consent of the Village Board. The Treasurer is the custodian of all funds belonging to the Village. The Treasurer must make a monthly report showing the state of the treasury and its remaining balance as of the date of the report.

Village Attorney
Appointed by the Village Board to serve as the Village’s legal advisor, the Village Attorney is responsible for providing legal advice to the Mayor, Village Board, and Village staff; preparing legal opinions; reviewing and drafting of ordinances, resolutions, contracts, and other legal documents; enforcing violations of the Municipal Code; and defending lawsuits against the City and its officials and staff.
The Village of Williamsville contracts with the law firm of Barber, Segatto, Hoffee & Hines for Village Attorney services. Randall W. Segatto is the Village Attorney.

The Village Engineer also prepares construction plans, specifications and contract documents for the construction of Village sewer, water and roadway improvements. In addition to construction-related services, the Village Engineer responds to inquiries from Village staff and residents regarding stormwater drainage and floodplain management, location of Village-owned utilities, right-of-way and property surveys, subdivision review, mapping services, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and traffic studies.
The Village of Williamsville contracts with the engineering firm of Kuhn & Trello Consulting Engineers for Village Engineer services. Kevin Kuhn is the Village Engineer.
