Simplicity Cobalt This mower has been used for two seasons and has been well maintained. The mower is ready for use with fresh oil, oil filter, fuel filter, sharp blades, and new air filter. The mower has 719.9 hours on a Vanguard 37 hp fuel injected motor, with a 72” deck. Bids are to be submitted to the Village Hall, 141 West Main Street, Williamsville, IL during normal business hours Monday thru Friday (7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.) Bids are due by 3:00 p.m. on April 17th. This mower is being sold “as-is”. The Village has the right to accept or reject any or all bids. More info and pictures can be viewed on the attached document.
Fishing is now permitted at Lake Valor, but it is only open for catch and release until April 2027.
The Village yard waste site is currently closed to the public. However, our public works department has resumed their brush pickup schedule. The schedule *at this time* is as follows:
- East of Carter St: Monday - Elm St to Carter St: Wednesday - West of Elm St: Friday Also, effective immediately, the Village of Williamsville will NO LONGER be picking up grass clippings. We recommend residents to mulch their grass, instead of bagging it. The Village of Williamsville will continue to pick up other yard waste. Just a reminder - the Village yard waste site is still currently closed to the public. Commercial dumping of lawn waste is also now prohibited at the Williamsville yard waste site. Williamsville Landscape Waste Site will be closed to public drop-off as of January 1st.
The last day for leaf/yard waste pickup will be on Monday, December 15th. Attached is Ordinance No. 2025-13: An ordinance of the Village of Williamsville, Illinois regarding: amending chapter 155 fees section 155-14, water and sewer, paragraph K, paragraph L and paragraph M. Ordinance No. 2025-13 was passed and published on October, 27, 2025 by authority of the Board of Trustees, Village of Williamsville, IL.
