Keeping Children Safe Online

In today's world, technology is unavoidable. As new technological innovations arise, the opportunities for exploitation by criminals increases. Today’s youth are too often victims of cyber-criminals. This creates a large need for parents to educate themselves on digital wellbeing. Proper guidance and supervision are the key to safe internet usage.

Internet Safety Presentations

The Williamsville Police Department offers internet safety presentations to groups of parents looking for information and resources to keeping their children safe online. Please email Officer Tucker at a.tucker@williamsville.illinois.gov for more information.

Reporting Internet Incidents

We encourage anyone to report instances of cyber crime as soon as possible. The Williamsville Police Department is well equipped to handle such incidents, and provide assistance to victims. Please contact us at (217) 566-3634 to make a report or speak to an officer.
