The Village of Williamsville has passed a new ordinance in regards to commercial dumping. Any person, business, firm, corporation, company who has collected yard waste for a fee that is collected from or generated from residential real estate located within the corporate boundaries of the Village of Williamsville, must apply for and receive a permit from the Village to deposit, dump, or dispose of any yard waste at the Village's yard waste burn pile. The permit is free of charge and valid for three days from the date of issuance. A permit application must be signed by both the owner/occupant and the contractor. Applications may be turned into the Village Clerk at the Village Hall, or if the Village Hall is not open, then a police officer on-duty or on-call, or the Director of Public Works. Once a permit is issued, the contractor is required to keep the signed permit in their possession at all times.

In the next two weeks from March 26, 2024. Ameren will begin performing maintenance and tree trimming on the Heritage Route 66 Trail. The trail will be closed for public access and use during this period. Once the work begins, maintenance will be complete in 2 weeks or less, weather permitting. Estimated completion and reopening April 20, 2024. Thank you for your cooperation and patience. Healthy Kids Running Series is returning to Samuel H. Jones Park this spring. Race days are April 14th, April 21st, April 28th, May 5th, and May 12th at 3:00 p.m. Register at healthykidsrunningseries.org. Early bird discount registration ends on March 24th.
The Village of Williamsville has scheduled our All Town Garage Sales and Clean Up date for April 27. Garage sales will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the clean up event will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Affordable Shred will be at the event this year from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. You must be a Williamsville or Williams Township resident to participate in the clean up and the shred event.
